SureCam, by Intelligent Telematics, provides commercial vehicle fleets with real-time visibility into harsh driving events and accidents.  Our mission is simple: help fleets run safer, and more profitably.  Our solution, a network-connected camera and software, stream footage in real time, and provide fleet operators with the information they need to minimize claims/insurance costs and increase safe driving.


We believe every fleet, from 5 vehicles to 5,000 should have access to the same best-in-class technology that provides real time visibility into what's happening on the road.  Our clients range from globally recognized commercial fleets, to independent operators.



This position is responsible for engaging and qualifying prospective clients, and generating buying demand for SureCam products and services with fleet organizations. The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving pipeline growth and qualifying prospects that build into opportunities for the sales organization. 


  • Prospect/qualify leads in collaboration with Business Development Executives (BDEs) on a daily basis
  • Conduct extensive research to identify and engage targeted prospects
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting
  • Prospect into multiple organizations via e-mail, cold-calling, networking, and utilizing Internet information sources (LinkedIn, Google, etc.)
  • Making 40- 80 calls per day to build and manage lead development pipeline
  • Replying to 100-150 emails a day
  • Proactive communication with prospects and clients via email and telephone
  • Strive to convert all qualified prospects, meeting needs analysis criteria, into booked appointments for senior sales
  • Nurture longer term qualified prospects through regular follow up and contact 
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Articulate the value proposition of SureCam to decision-makers across multiple industries to evaluate and qualify buying interest. Promote SureCam solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective clients
  • Book meetings with targeted accounts for their Account Executive counterparts
  • Generate pipeline by connecting with prospects as they begin their buyer's journey


  • Working on or have Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
  • Ability to converse with and influence decision makers
  • Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to sell concepts and complex products
  • Comfortable, persistent and gracious on the telephone
  • Self-starter, quick learner and good listener
  • Highly organized and responsible
  • Able to maintain composure under high pressure
  • Possesses a positive attitude
  • Versatile enough to be a team player, but effective enough to be an individual contributor and motivated to exceed their quota
